Katisha Sargeant

Welcome to My World
I first found my love of acting when I was 12 years old. It was in 7th grade that I performed my first play in front of a large audience. As soon as I stepped off of that stage, I knew that I wanted more.
When I got to high school, I joined the drama team and continued to work on my skills as an actress. Once in college, I lost focus of my big dreams as I was very focused on my academics. I did, however, get a minor degree in Theatre.
Upon graduating from North Carolina State University, I realized that I had to give this "acting thing" a shot. I moved to Los Angeles in 2015 and attended the New York Film Academy in Burbank to receive my Master's of Fine Arts in Acting for Film. I quickly realized that my training did not end just because I got my diploma. Practice makes perfect, so I continued to practice by taking classes constantly. I am very pleased with the direction that my career is currently heading in and I cannot wait to see what else is in store.
Thanks for coming along for the ride!
